FYI, Acer has outsourced its service centre to Highpoint Service Network. Thus, either from ah kong or ah ma, it went to ah gao. LOL.

So, in terms of pricing which one is more competitive. Thinking of getting this phone vis-a-vis Blackberry as I am not always in the office.

depends for me i prefer e71 more because of the availability of games and softwares.

Blackberry only useful if u use instant pushmail for BES/BIS if not its overprice and useless.

Blackberry expensive and useless if u dont use BES/BIS for pushmail
E71 only RM1300 when blackberry the latest one 2k +++++

Somemore e71 have GPS + garmin superb. If u get blackberry u will confuse yourself even more



If u dont mind 2nd hand E71 can get as low as RM1000 = For 2 E71 = 1 blackberry

Please do let me know where to get E71 at RM1.3k? Just went to NOKIA outlet and was quoted around RM1.6+k.

The salesgirl said E63 us cheaper, RM1.03k, but the color really cannot make it.

I will need a lots of access to office exchange email. Sometimes will be on oversea trip for a week which things could not move without coordination.

Well, don't mind getting a 2nd hand one but I reckon the new one should be installed with the latest firmware. Hav had a bad experience before on E66, the phone will always hang when I come out from a place without signal.

any1 knw how to sign the unsign app ?

Like i said everyone are good in different field. Consult or know a symbian expert and all your problem will be solve. I been using nokia since the first symbian smartphone Nokia 7650 i never have any issue. Dun worry about firmware you can update yourself.

Go to the shop type this *#0000# on phone this should be the latest firmware

Well at least it should be more decent, indoor is really bad. They should update the camera software.

It means E = business not E = photography.


IN business a businessman do not need high tech camera phones. Its quite decent actually what do u expect more?

I think the camera is decent enough for random snaps.
If you want ALL in ONE then wait for the N97, of course you get what you paid for.. retail going to be RM2000+

its not confirm yet. Doesnt mean 5megapixel it will be at the top of its class like n82
Example 5800 XM the camera is 3.2 megapixel Carl zeiss but my n73 camera take better photos

Hi, just bought the black avaxx set for about 2 weeks. My phone seem to have problem with the sd card. Since purchasing the phone the phone sometimes cannot detect the sd card. When to the shop and what they did is take out the card and put it back. Then the phone detect it. I never take out the card but its already about 5-6 times i kena. Have to take out the card the put it back, then the phone can detect the card. The shop said its normal since the card reader is very small and very sensitive. Do you guys have experience with this. Should i claim for warranty?

Well, i have been using E71 zitron set since October 08 and never faced such problem.. it might be the micro sd card or your phone.. no idea..
try changing to other card.. see what happen
