then ? my GMTX 4.20 also need to delete that file ?

Yes, the TsrStart.exe is the culprit. I have tested it and it is confirmed. Just delete it after each time you run it. I am running Garmin v.5.2 and still enjoying a 4 day battery life.

i deleted the 2 fies d.

not waiting the battery drop to 1 bar,
will recharge it and see whether will extend the battery life or not.

By the way, any one know how to delete the "My Location" in GMXT?
i want to delete some saved location.

If you are running on Garmin v4.2 most of the people don't have battery issue. This only happend to those running v5.1 and above. Anyway, I found deleting those 2 files (cardrunner.dll & cardrunner.rsc) doesn't have impact anyway I do it as follow the suggestion and it didn't give any problem to my phone.

You can use the Nokia Energy Profiler. It show the battery usage drop dramatically after you delete the tsrStart.exe file.

If you installed GMXT on your phone and you want the battey life stays longer... Follw the step below to removed some files...

The new garmin kills the battery life on our phones. There is a program called TSRAutostart.exe that is draining the battery. If you have jbtaskman and kill the process, it will just start again when you restart your phone. Here is a solution to stop that file from automatically starting, thus greatly increasing your battery life.

To stop that file from restarting, plug your phone into your computer and use the mass storage setting. Then, delete these two files

\sys\bin\CardRunner.dll
\resource\plugins\CardRunner.RSC

This will stop that battery hog file from starting up. If you install jbtaskman you can kill the process after your run garmin. This will increase your battery.

yes the tsrautostart will not start up when u turn your phone on but keep in mind that after you ran garminXT even once on your phone, you need to kill tsrautostart again with jbaktaskman or restart your phone.
