QUOTE(fariq_azad @ Feb 23 2009, 03:02 PM) i think the best case for this would be the capdase softframe. How does it look like??? Got photo, come share it, cool maybe wanna buy one...it would protect your phone all arounf except for keyboard and screen (use screen protector) and u can use the phone straight away with the cover on without having to take it out |

QUOTE(Pliskin @ Feb 23 2009, 05:06 PM) hi guys...need some help...noob user here... You sure you update the firmware correctly??? It is finished/fully updated before unplug??? Which version is on your phone now???when i connect my E71 to the PC, and explore the contents thru PC Suite, the only memory which shows up is Phone Memory...i dun see Memory Card even though the card is in the phone....something wrong rite? i disconnect the USB connection, then connect again, and choose "mass storage", i can browse the contecnts of the card using the PC's window explorer (not PC suite)....can transfer the file, no problem....but once i disconnect the USB cable, and when i go to "Memory" in the phone's menu, it will state "Memory Card in use"....i can't even check how much storage is used up... after all this, have to restart the phone, then only everything back to normal...and when i play the music files, the corrupted files will be automaticaaly be repaired....any ideas why this is so? |

QUOTE(onich4n @ Feb 26 2009, 07:29 PM) A-GPS or Assisted GPS is a technology that uses an assistance server to cut down the time needed to determine a location using GPS. It is useful in urban areas, when the user is located in "urban canyons", under heavy tree cover, or even indoors. It is becoming more common and it's commonly associated with Location Based Services.A-GPS differs from regular GPS by adding another element to the equation, the Assistance Server. In regular GPS networks there are only GPS satellites and GPS receivers. In A-GPS networks, the receiver, being limited in processing power and normally under less than ideal locations for position fixing, communicates with the assistance server that has high processing power and access to a reference network. Since the A-GPS receiver and the Assistance Server share tasks, the process is quicker and more efficient than regular GPS, albeit dependent on cellular coverage. |

Added on February 28, 2009, 1:47 pm QUOTE(bibbyGirl @ Feb 28 2009, 01:42 PM) Changes made from version 5.00.20 to 5.00.30:◦Provide support for Nokia 5800 (S60 touch screen). ◦Provide a background service that monitors incoming messages which may contain information used by Garmin Mobile XT. A new setting will allow the user to turn this option off (Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Service). ◦Improve map drawing performance.
