Just got a job offer, and they want me to start quick, like first day January quick. Obviously can't quit abruptly from my current company. Can't tell them I got another offer, because as I've heard it'll make me look like a jerk. So what do I say to my boss/hr? Obviously I have to lie, what do I say?
