I had recently resigned from my job. During my join date until my resign date (1 year 3 months) there is no increment on the salary but only bonus of 1.25 months.
My boss counter the salary the other company offer me of the same salary, is it worth it to stay ?

QUOTE(furryfluffy @ May 10 2011, 11:58 PM) Next time u will need to submit resignation letter again to ask for increment? .........think that is the best way, coz normal company will only increase RM50 to RM150 per year What else u r not happy with at the current company other than pay? ........ the job scope is complicated and daunting How is the new company compared to this current company? .... new company easy job...... Added on May 12, 2011, 1:34 amQUOTE(cutegal0886 @ May 11 2011, 10:01 AM) Agree... u need to submit resignation letter only give u a counter offer match with new company... ( that is why, if i go ask direct the % for increment is lower, sure boss say your performance ...... need to write a good report to HR....... but with LO from other company ... no need to write long/ good report... just counter back the other company offered pay ( either same / higher ) if u dun do this action.. mean ur still same salary from 1yrs ago...( i think very possibly ) I think u better think probably... whether worth to work for them anot ( job is happy coz not monotonous, many things to learn coz it is tremendous complicated job, however one thing is the salary doesn't match the work done... the only thing I am not happy about and no increment after confirm ) Added on May 12, 2011, 1:38 amQUOTE(furryfluffy @ May 11 2011, 01:40 PM) Let's say the company does give increment.... and if u r not happy with it, do u tell the boss/manager? ( yes, happy if same or better higher then marker rate, but frankly salary no diff from fresh grad.) This post has been edited by azurebluesky: May 12 2011, 01:38 AM
