Hi guys, In offer letter it states that I have to provide "at least 2 months notice" if I were to quit. So that mean I can give notice longer than 2 months right? I plan to start with my new company in July, so I thought I would give them more time to find replacement and handover work. Also, I'm bonded until end of June, I would be considered to have serve the bond fully right even though I tendered 3 months earlier? Thanks. Appreciate if anyone with knowledge can enlighten me.

QUOTE(yiivei @ Mar 15 2013, 11:03 AM) Yes. You can give a longer notice. Thanks! Any idea about the bond? Anyone? Logically I think it's fine, tendering is just an advanced notice, by the time I served the notice I would've completed the bond. Just need confirmation from experts or anyone from HR here. Don't want to ask my own HR because I haven't tendered yet.

QUOTE(shenngau @ Mar 16 2013, 01:09 PM) Yes, it is fine. I had the same experience. My last working day was the last day of my bond. I need to serve 3 month notice but i just gave 4 months notice and mention it in my resignation letter that i serve 3 months notice and completed my bond. Thank you so much bro! That is exactly my plan! I can proceed then.
