NO, your answer is wrong. The company does have to pay the remaining 2 months' wages in lieu. Because it is not the employee that wanted out earlier, but the employer. That is what "in lieu" means in the contract because if it was the employee that wanted out earlier instead, the HR could EASILY make the employee pay back 2 months' wages in lieu simply because it was stated in the contract.
