QUOTE(furryfluffy @ Feb 12 2012, 10:36 PM) Hi GK nah, not yet but hopefully U going to Singapore? U can state the last date of employment which can be either 1 mth notice and 2 months of salary in lieu of notice or any combination that you have agreed with HR/superior. Make sure that HR acknowledge receipt your resignation letter and also the cheque (if any) Do I give my resignation letter through email and hard copy as well to my direct superior cc HR manager? If the HR/direct superior doesnt approve of the payback, I can do nothing much right? How do I ensure that HR acknowledge receipt? Do I need to ask HR manazer to sign a duplicate copy of the resignation letter for my keepsake? QUOTE(faceless @ Feb 13 2012, 08:24 AM) You dont seem like the type that cant write. This is ot as difficult as you think. Just go straight to the point. thx faceless. ah okay, will do just that!I hereby give to resign wef ___. I will compensate the company 3 months salary in lieu of notice. |

QUOTE(faceless @ Feb 13 2012, 09:42 AM) There is no such thing as dont accept. Just hand in your notice and walk out. Hmm, okay faceless. First time resigning, don't know much about it altho did my research. Please, the red text is understood! You dont need people here to teach you such things, do you? Btw, regarding the payback in lieu, THAT should be agreed upon first or can I just write and payback in cheque/cash promptly like the resignation letter. |

Normally, for counter offer, you need to show proof/evidence of you being offered by another company at a better/higher perks/benefits. If companies just blindly believe your words, you might as well say give me 100% increase in salary or in other words double your salary now.
From what I know, you show the offer letter(scan it in the computer and blanko whatever P&C you think should not be shown and to be shown to your current employer. At least there is a proof. |
