it reset the fsb to auto because your OC is fail, this is the CPR function form asus board, it allow u to boot without manually reset the cmos..

it reset to default for all setting when serious failure i guess, for small problem, i revert back the fsb only if i not remember wrong. because everytime i fail it boot at stock fsb and i can continue OC from there, no need to set all setting again..
