Aight, i've successfully oc'ed it to 2.92Ghz stable tested with Prime 95 but using stock cooler >< , the temp of core 1 is 50 C @ idle and others are 4x C , are the temps too high for my cpu? What is the max fan speed of stock cooler? 2700 RPM?

load @ 6x C , is there any way to max out my CPU fan speed at startup? Its running @ 1.28V @ 2.93Ghz

Core 1 temp reaches 83 C when Prime 95 is loaded, the temp seems increased drastically in heavy load cry.gif cry.gif shakehead.gif . I've also remounted my cooler serveral times and re-applied the thermal grease using Tuniq-TX2, but it doesnt help at all. icon_question.gif

Well Q6xxx series does run hot, so I'm not surprised at those numbers on the stock HSF. The only way you're gonna get more frequency out of that processor is to either buy an aftermarket HSF, or lap it.

BS the mobo cannot oc well...

Its the technique... at 3Ghz, voltage should be 1.35, not auto. My Q6600 + P5N-D combo can reach 3.93
