What is the maximum weight your pet will reach (i.e. 250g, 2lb, 5lb, etc.)?

Most digital scales have a valuable feature called TARE. This feature simply removes the weight of any item placed on the platform that you do not wish to be included with the final weight. For example: Place your container (i.e. box, bowl, etc.) on the scale's platform that will hold your pet - then push the TARE button. Your scale's display will reset to 0 by subtracting the weight of the container. Now - simply place your pet in the container and your scale will display the actual weight of your pet in the container.

I have one customer who uses the kitchen scale (KD160 in my post #1) to weigh his guineas. That's really cool!

Three brands we have for the kitchen scales:
TANITA, APEX and HXD

TANITA is Japan manufacturer, APEX and HXD are China-made but both are reliable brands!

TANITA KD160 2kg/1g is under limited warranty of 1 year from the manufacturer against manufacturing defects. The promotional price now is RM99.

HXD, the capacity available are: 1kg/0.1g, 2kg/0.5g, 3kg/1g. The weight graduation is smaller compared to KD160. This model is selling at RM99 too.

A1200-1 - 1200g*0.2g
A2000-1 - 2000g*1g
A3000-1 - 3000g*0.5g

Yes, both with TARE function. All our products will be well-calibrated before they are sold... you can rest-assured.

Tanita makes some scales in Japan and some in China. KD160 is Chinese-made. The good thing about Tanita is that they are still Japanese-owned. Therefore they honestly and truly care about quality.

Yes, we do have but not this brand. This type of scale is designed to be extremely sensitive and the readings will fluctuate by the influence of wind. Therefore it is equipped with a wind cover for static measurement. We sold alot of units to the goldsmiths. The price ranges from ~800 - 1000 over. Are you a goldsmith or just looking for personal use? Please let me know if you're really interested and I shall upload you some photos of the models we have. Thanks.

The 100g comes in a 7-piece-set. Weights Include 10g, 2 x 20g, 50g, 100g, 2 x 200g.
