Well.. this 2 red rings of doom (not death) striked yesterday at my sister's place..
I bought my xbox for a week now and it happened unexpectedly yesterday after 10 minutes of GoW2 play.

Never had an issue like this before this though. I daresay I played my xbox nearly 4 hours before and never had any overheating and the place I put my xbox was well air ventilated and is high off the ground.

Cooled it down almost 10 hours now, still overheated (2 red rings on the left side).
Anyone here ever got the same problem as mine? Any experience from this tragedy? Any help / suggestion would be gladly appreciated. Thanks!!

it doestnt matter if u played on aircond room
inside ur xbox the hot air will remain since the ventilation inside is so poor
hot air trap inside and the fan cannot blow out the hot air..
casuing ur machine overheated

What do you recommend me to do?
Is it possible for a vacuum cleaner to suck all the hot air inside? hmmm.

if ur machien still under warranty
nothing u can do except claim warranty

if not
just do simple modification..
last time my bro make a tutorial about it..
can search bout fan/turnal mod

like mine
i've put extra 12V/5V fan to blow hot air inside turnel (sendiri buat)
and ori fan running at full power to blow out hot air

hey thanks!! but for now, i'm finding a hard time finding the tools to strip the xbox down to its mainboard. any tips on finding where the torx, arcticlean, arctic 5 thingy here in malaysia?
