Question tongue.gif

The Old Town White Coffee Cafe in Puchong (Kinrara) has wireless connectivity but strangely, although my Ipod Touch is able to connect to it (even detected the IP Address and Router), I can't surf the web. I tried to go into its router configuration and managed to see its login page. So I guess there isn't a problem with my Ipod Touch. But I have no idea why I can't surf the web. It keeps telling me (after a min) that the router is not responding...

Does anyone know if I need to do/set anything on my Ipod? smile.gif

I don't think your touch detected the DNS right?
Ask the staff to restart the router, you should be able to surf the web after that thumbup.gif

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO iPOD TOUCH USER!!

Guys im having a major problem with my ipod touch sad.gif No matter what apps I open, it will close automatically after 1 or 2 seconds ..as in it doesn't even enter the app ... like loading 1 2 second then auto quit ... why like that ar sad.gif I didn't change any settings whatsoever ... it was working fine yesterday
*
Okay firstly this is normal. I have faced it for many times. Your apps are crashing because you have bugs in some of your FREE apps.

You have 2 options to fix this

1 delete the apps and redownload again ( it may crash again after some time)
2 completely RESTORE your touch to factory settings (kosong). After that, Try your best not to download too many Free apps. This will fix the problem for sure.

Hope it helps

Guys, i'm just wondering whether it's possible to organize a gathering for iPod touch users... Of course it's also open to users of other iPods as well as Apple products! biggrin.gif

What do u think?
*
Well no doubt it's possible. It's a good idea. I will be going for sure if there's one. Probably bringing 3 more friends because i made them buy biggrin.gif

I have the Edifier IF330 plus, it's a portable one.
My friend also bought a portable ipod speaker, logitech pure fi express.

The sound are okay, both price range are 340-400. You can't expect much for this price.
Well basically it can act as universal dock with remote and a charger so you no need to buy them if your budget is tight.

From what i know, you can't expect superb sound for ipod speaker. It's designed for decoration, mostly.

andd JAMO is expensive o.O

How do I know which 1 is having the bug ? ALL my apps are crashing =.=

Btw any website that clearly teaches how to backup + restore ? I juz got a new comp and am moving my itunes over ... AFAIK .. if i juz connect like that to my new com ... everything in my ipod touch will be cleared ... juz wondering how to backup and things like that ... and will it backup EVERYTHING ? Like i put alot of "pins" in my MAPS ... hope that can be backed up

It can't be helped if you only redownload them, it will save you for days but not long.

SO...

That's why i recommend you restore your ipod until it's KOSONG. after that you must download LESS free apps. This will help for sure. trust me

yes. it SHOULD be. I have purchased 25 apps from app store and face no problem.

IF you want to download free app, download those which you really need it and must be popular one.

Yea the touch hockey is a problem. Easy to download, nice to play, after some time, most of your apps will crash 1 by 1.

Buy apple charger from Ebay, 1 word to describe : CHEAP!

thats weird..my touch hockey works fine u know..i play it very often with my friends too..
what do u guys mean by crash? halfway playing it closes? or it lags? or does it hang your ipod?
*
Maybe you're lucky. Well crashing means, after you press the app you want to open, it jump back to menu screen after 2 seconds.

I don't that's the topic we're talking about right?

We're discussing about the problem where many apps are crashing together at the same time.

Your simcity are just affecting 1 app. No big deal about it. contact EA and ask for update for that..

nah I don't think such thing will be coming out so fast. Apple just launched their ipod 2nd gen and appstore just started last year.

I would rather they come out with a 64 or 128 gb iPod touch

we will wait for it then...
remember apple just launched their new macbook, new ipod touch and nano.

Recently, they upgraded the mac air and ipod classic. it will be ipod touch's turn.

Current capacity is not enough at all for an iPod touch.

And as for speakers, is the Klipsch or Jamo recommended?

You should try all the speakers out yourself. Find the one that suit you only.
