Needs advise here.....beside the original charger..where can i purchase the compatible charger...as the original is kinda a bit expensive...

These compatible chargers are actually very affordable and can be bought from most of the shops in Lowyat Plaza though... The original Apple one costs M$109.00, FYI...

But for me, that charger gave me a scare when it blew up (i.e. made a "pop" sound when i switched it on) just as i wanted to charge my iPod touch... Thet darn thing worked the first time but for this second charge, it almost spoilt my touch and i also almost got a short circuit!

Yea the touch hockey is a problem. Easy to download, nice to play, after some time, most of your apps will crash 1 by 1.
Buy apple charger from Ebay, 1 word to describe : CHEAP!

thats weird..my touch hockey works fine u know..i play it very often with my friends too..
what do u guys mean by crash? halfway playing it closes? or it lags? or does it hang your ipod?

How do I know which 1 is having the bug ? ALL my apps are crashing =.=

Btw any website that clearly teaches how to backup + restore ? I juz got a new comp and am moving my itunes over ... AFAIK .. if i juz connect like that to my new com ... everything in my ipod touch will be cleared ... juz wondering how to backup and things like that ... and will it backup EVERYTHING ? Like i put alot of "pins" in my MAPS ... hope that can be backed up

Maybe you're lucky. Well crashing means, after you press the app you want to open, it jump back to menu screen after 2 seconds.

It's actually not a problem. It happen to me too. All my Apps were downloaded in Itunes Store Malaysia and then i changed the location to Itunes Store US and i sync my Ipod. Thats when this happens.

So i suggest you go back to Itunes and try to remember which Itunes Store u downloaded your apps and changed back your settings

hey guys under capacity itunes will show you info of audio, apps, other right? when i got all the album artwork the 'others' increased to around 150mb and when i deleted all the album artwork, the 'others' still show 150mb. how come?

Yes im wrong, but it should be 99%. EVEN IF it crash, redownloading it WILL solve the problem

since no one else can give a solution to gymboi, why not you try evrythincools way first.
and whether an app is free or paid for doesnt mean its a bad application whatt it depends on the creator of the app, even the price depends on whether the creator wants to charge for it or not.

The hard working guys over at the iPhone Dev team have finally did it - the software unlock for the iPhone 3G is ready and will be made public on New Year's Eve. And best of all, it will be free as usual. To prove they have the real Mccoy, a member of the Dev-Team has published a video of the actual unlocking.

The iPhone Dev-Team have been working on a software unlocking method for iPhone 3G since Day One and they are finally ready.

For the time being, the method, codenamed yellowsn0w, requires command line operation, but the Dev-Team promises a nice looking graphical interface for inexperienced users. The tool will be available for download on New Year's Eve. 3G or not 3G is no longer the question.



The Dev-Team are obviously planning on distributing the software via the unofficial third-party software repository Cydia, so you'll need to jailbreak the iPhone first to gain access to it in the first place.

Unfortunately the only iPhones to benefit from the unlock, are those with baseband ver. 2.11.07 or earlier.
