Iphone is more like a fashion statement.. Ipod touch is more practical.. Unless iphone batt can be used 10 hours continuously then most people might consider(though very unlikely tongue.gif )

turning off the display?
ya, i did.

after i found this problem, i make an experiment again.
i fully charge it the next time, and then press & hold power button to totally turn off,
left it one day, the next day i turn on, battery left 75% d.  blush.gif

i understand Li-ion battery will drain by it self although not using,
but draining such fast is quite make people very disappointing.
*
Err.. Something must be wrong with ur ipod.. I put my ipod touch on standby for few days and the batt doesn't drain even abit from the batt bar..

today i observe it again,
50% battery, put it in standby mode, and never touch it,
the next day, battery drain to 20% d... so sad.

i just bougt my iTouch less than a month only...
but it's hard to explain to them the problem now.
maybe wait the problem more serious only bring it back.
*
Try reinstalling the firmware n c.. Might be some error with the firmware that makes it not in standby mode...

Ipod touch cant replace psp in terms of gaming.. But heck for such a small size the graphics are amazing enough.. Ipod touch is more of an overall device..

assuming you managed to get the ad-hoc working..

go to SysPref > sharing. tick Internet sharing. select from what to what to share, e.g. from LAN to AirPort. it works for me all the time, sharing my 3g broadband connection to my ipod touch or my friend's notebook. when it didnt, its just because my internet is too slow.
*
Tick internet sharing in local area connection properties..? Then choose from ICS..? But i still cant get internet.. only local connection.. Can teach step by step..?

under the Internet sharing (u need to tick and click it to view its menu):

at "share ur connection from:" choose whatever u use to connect to the internet. this can be ur ethernet or in my case, my 3G modem. then at "computers using" tick Airport, since that's the only way u can share internet with an ipod touch
*
Strange it worked now.. Haha.. Did the same thing before but cant connect to internet.. Thanks..

The frequency response stated is 20 - 20,000 for ipod touch or the earphones that come with it? If the earphone states 17 - 22000 means the earphone extra freq response wasted?
*
Err dude.. You cant hear more that 20kHz and below 20Hz la.. doh.gif So whats the point of having an earphone that can do below and above that..?

Sorry I didn't know what maaa.. Then those high end earphones advertise freq below those for what? Apple in ear one can go down to 5Hz somemore..
*
Haha.. That im not sure.. I think they just want you to know what freq can their product do.. But that certainly is not their selling point.. Earphones have way more character than freq only..
