I don't know, when i refer "choi", i refer it as "Cantonese"............naturally, when my dad speaks Hakka, my mind can "automatically" understand loh....some say KL got sizable number of Hakka people, but when i am in KL/PJ......so far, i have less than 10 encounters of Hakka speaking people..

You are sino-Kadazan, mesti bangga..........sino-kadazan sumandaks, much better!

In my experience here...

The two most frequent dialects are (Mandarin excluded) :

- Cantonese

- Hokkien

When a person speaks Cantonese, there is a high chance that he might understand Hakka easily...

Sabahans when talking, always use the word "anu"....

At the end of sentence, "bah"...

Example :

"Itu bah..."

"Anu itu...."

Bilang usually refer as cakap in normal Malay

"Siapa bilang itu?"

Note : bilang maybe used in Indonesian with the same meaning...

Celana means seluar
