i based my comparison of stability on linux, n xp just dont cut it...its stable when u dnt use it for long...memory management can b a disaster, more over, networking is hell in xp! vista on the other hand, it crashes when ur software is piss old, i cant find other reason it crashed my software...n networking is so damn ez, tho not as customizable as linux's cfg file setup
u cant uninstall it, tats bundled with windows

Well you can uninstall it i think but you don't have too la, just leave the ie there. Install firefox.

backdoor means lubang for intrusion, actually the biggest lubang is activex...disable it n u should b fine...another lubang is flash...

uninstall ie not gona free much space, go to the place i pointed u to install firefox 1st, after tat i point u to another few things for installation, for less lubang of intrusion...

try not to leave exe files or big file on desktop, tat will slow down the loading...try to copy those into a folder n put it somewhere else, but create a shortcut on desktop so u can access it faster
