Hi All, any effective/better way to reduce pore size? I'm using Biotherm Biopur (pore reducer) for some time now but didn't see any result yet sad.gif

Use skincare that have BHA in it. I recommend Paula's Choice BHA 1% liquid, but you cant get it here in Malaysia.. You must order it from the net and it takes about a week to get here.
But I assure you that it is worth it  laugh.gif

You should try the sample first. And you can get it here in Malaysia, they just open a branch here. But you still got to order it online and it will take about 2 days to reach you.

AFAIK pore size is genetic so if u got large pores there's nothing much u can do. Most products in the market just cosmetically reduce pore size temporarily.

I think my pore is getting larger due to white/black heads. I don't think it's genetic.

I've used the biopur range before, and it just made my face more oily, now i'm using skin refining treatment from SK II to minimize pore, I'm seeing results in 2 weeks time

Hi dr3w, is the SK II product for men & how much does it cost ? Thanks.

Then try using a clay mask and a mild scrub a few times a week. A BHA/AHA product will help to in getting rid of black and white heads.

Thanks for the suggestion smile.gif

Do you guys normally use only 1 kind/brand of face wash?

I'm currently using Biotherm Aquapower in the morning & Loreal men expert Vita Lift and/or Hydra Energetic in the evening.

Am not sure whether it's OK to alternate between different brands of face wash.

Any comments? Thanks.

Apply clay mask twice a week, buy a BHA infused skin products and apply sunblock everyday.
Clay mask - Neutrogena
BHA - Paula's Choice
Sunblock - Biore or Shiseido Anessa

The total cost will be around RM100.

Hi, I tried the BHA sample purchased online. In my opinion, this product is not suitable for oily skin as I found it to be oily. I am more comfortable in using Loreal Matifying Pore Minimizing Toner. Sadly, my pores are still pretty much visible & large. I wanted to buy a clay mask but still unclear which brand to choose.

if you look at derma products, there's no men/women skincare. there's only skincare.
the men/women skincare are only available within the mainstream skincare business. pure marketing tactics.
how do you apply it? because that product is a rave within the beauty scene.
and it is available in 3 formulation, lotion, gel and liquid. which one did you buy?
*
Hi, I'm using the liquid type. I apply it after washing my face. Then I will apply bit of moisturizer(Biotherm) on top of it.

Is that correct way?

the regime is correct but how did you apply it? with cotton pad?

No, I use my fingertips or my palm. Does that mean it's too excessive?

Just bought myself the Biotherm clay mask last week. I wonder is all clay mask make our skin brighter/fairer? I want the mask to get rid of my black/white heads & to minimise the pores but not to make my skin brighter.

I'm currently using Shiseido Men Moisturizing Emulsion as daytime moisturizer. it works pretty well for me. i use a very small amount coz my skin is oily. doesn't control oil or makes my face extra oily. I've had enuf of oil control moisturizers. they dry the skin up n oil/shine control is temporary..a waste of money.

Night time i use Biotherm Aquapower moisturizer (green bottle) or Shiseido Men Total Revitalizer. both r excellent but a lil too heavy for daytime use. i won't repurchase the Total Revitalizer coz it's just too expensive.

Hi Jonny, I notice that if the skin type is normal to oily type, Biotherm Aquapower is not so suitable. I just try the sample Biotherm High Recharge, it's quite good. Worth trying. And for face wash, Biotherm White Peel is recommended compared to Aquapower (the green one) for slightly oiler skin type.

Its under controlled. I tried other brands (eg. Origins), they are not as suitable for me.
