Alright

How long does the 200ml bottle last u ? How much do u use ?

My current toner (Clinique Scruffing Lotion 200ml) lasts me about 4-5 months and is slightly cheaper than the T Pur toner. I'm thinking of switching to T Pur but I just want to know if it can last as long as my Clinique. The thick consistency makes me assume that I will have to squeeze out more onto the cotton pad.
*
The T-pur is also 200ml.
I am not exactly sure how long I have been using it but it's definitely more than 6 months and there is about half left. Doesn't really make sense but seriously, no joke.

The T-pur toner can be hard to apply if you put it dircetly on the facial cotton cos' the toner will get absorbed.
I dab the toner on my face with my fingers, then spread it with a facial cotton with a little toner on it as well.

Try not to apply excessively. The amount that I use is just enough to cover the whole face with a thin layer of cleanser/ toner/ moisturiser and that is enough to see results within 4 months of usage. No point using too much in one application I guess. It just goes to waste.

I recently bought Biotherm Homme T Pur toner after ron c's recommendation and its really quite good and one of the better toners i have used. I prefer it to the Clinique and Lab Series toners that were quite harsh.

I've been using the Biotherm T-Pur range for a over 5 yrs now. Well i guess it suits me and so far no complaints. Hahaha.

Yeah it's a tad on the higher price range but I guess my oily face problem can be controlled, which I'm grateful for.

I used the oil Control Solution. RM80 for 100ml and it lasted me only 2 months (i use it twice a day) sad.gif
It wasn't really economical so that's why I switched to Clinique Scruffing Lotion which was double the size for the same price. But Clinique was overly strong and mostly contained alcohol, witch hazel, salicylic acid and preservatives. So that's why Biotherm appealed to me.

The Water Lotion quite expensive too (RM100 for 200ml) and when i tried it felt like water+alcohol and didn't seem worth the price.

I previously used the Lab Series Oil Control Face Wash and Oil Control Solution. The face wash was ok but overpriced and finished too fast. The Oil Control Solution didn't really control Oil at all. Right now I am using Lab Series Power Wash, Biotherm Homme T Pur Intense Lotion (toner) and Clinique M Gel Lotion (moisturizer). Same like u i use those products twice a day. Ever since I started using the Biotherm toner last week, the oil production has significantly lessened. So it seems to do the trick for me.

Do u use a moisturizer ? Most of the time ppl with oily skin think that they don't need a moisturizer but actually they do because the drier your skin gets the more oil is produced. So if u don't use a moisturizer start using one.

You can try the various oil control products. Almost all brands have one of these. I have tried the Biotherm one but I didn't really see a difference compared to my normal clinique m gel. Most of these oil control products are expensive, about RM140 for 50ml.

What u mean by "Basiaclly my face easily get oil after 2-3 wash" ?

I got the Simple moisturizer too...is it the normal one or the oil control one ? The normal one too oily la...more suitable for at night or body.

If u got money to spend then a oil control moisturizer should be good for u. If not then a very light moisturizing gel like clinique m gel should be alright. I use those blotters too and yeah they really come in handy. But when come to skin products it all comes down to trial and error as everyone's skin is different.

Here are some examples:

Try this for a change...

For oil control currently using Dermalogica:

Cleanser: Dermal clay cleanser - best for oily skin control
Toner: multi-active toner
Moisturizer: skin smoothing cream.

Effective: helped reduce oiliness, but not pimples.

To try list:
SK II's miracle water.

Looking for:
need to do Facial, extraction of pimples etc... any recommendations?

Most Clinique for Men products are just repackaged women's products and sometimes more expensive. For example the men facial soap comes in 150ml only and retails for the same price as the women liquid facial soap. But the catch is the women one comes in 200ml size. both are the same (i used both before). Even the Clinique SA told me to get the women one as it is more worth it LOL.

The Liquid Face Wash is just average and can be a little drying for some people. The Scruffing lotions are mainly alcohol, witch hazel and salicylic acid and are really overpriced. You could get something similar in ingredients and size for a quarter of the price (RM78, 200ml) at Guardian/Watsons.

The products I like are the M Gel Lotion (same as the women moisture gel) and facial scrub. There are many other products in the men range but those I mentioned above are the ones I have used before. I must stress that everyone skin is different and the products that didn't work for me might work for u and vice versa.

I used Clinique products (men and women) for a year before trying Lab Series and recently Biotherm Homme. My favourite is Biotherm Homme. But nothing beats the Clinique M Gel Lotion.
