eh guys, recently i just bought a kingston DDR2 800mhz RAMs for my OC'ed AMD PC. after putting it in, seems that the PC cannot start. after reset the BIOS then only it'll start. is this normal?

tried to OC it back. now on 2.3Ghz. mem using DDR2 533mhz divider (cos my 1GB is DDR2 667mhz)

i just hope it isnt the same problem like laptops where u need to switch between AHCI and native/normal mode on the SATA hard disk part.

AHCI is usually faster for SATA hard disks, but u need to slipstream your winXP CD. but windows vista by default supports it.

maybe u can find for that option inside the bios. im not so sure where, but as a advanced pc user, should u know right? tongue.gif
