QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Jan 13 2009, 04:33 PM) may i know what kinda voltage needed for 3.2GHz? uikss hahha im not sure where is that 80 degree came frm, i should take care of tt first i guess.. thanks bro. btw, that 80'c is for which component? something is on d brink of gettin toasted... p/s: basket, just back from dfi distro, my board is fine tested w/ my own quaddy. but i forgot to ask d technician to try another pair of ram slot (which i use). i'm prayin hard that ram slots is d problem rather than my ram el-cheapo twinmos which was d issue... else i got another excuse to go for cheap but gud team dark 4GB... QUOTE(fuzore @ Jan 14 2009, 01:33 PM) Oh..so u mean now that u got 3.2GHz like in ur siggy is using default vcore....and u only just playing with fsb which in amd we use the term htt and not even touch the multiplayer yet... that sounds interesting yup, just change the HTT (FSB). at tt point of time i dont know how to change the multi. ho..ho..slow down there bro the term perfect oc is not just gonna spook me out but the whole amd clan will go nuts... now i wanna ask.. if i raise the multi to x16 & HTT at 200. = 3.2GHZ. err what actually i gain eh?? Added on January 14, 2009, 3:20 pmi mean, if i use x16 multi i just OC the CPU alone while the rest is on stock(ram, temp) & x13.5 i can see it stress everything especially ram etc.. so, the real question here is which is better? P/S : havent touch the vcore yet This post has been edited by BuckRoger: Jan 14 2009, 03:24 PM |

QUOTE(fuzore @ Jan 14 2009, 04:50 PM) which multiplier is better? its better to be a smart oc'er not a sucide Oc'er yes increasing vcore = electricity + heat also increase but for the sake of stability in ocing vcore pumping is a must...unless u got a very rare chip which can clock very well with default vcore... when u oc always check ur temp bro...and if u afraid of burning ur chip then just dont oc... |

QUOTE(fuzore @ Jan 15 2009, 09:50 AM) whoaaa...nice clock there bro....nice..nice... thanks bro, of coz the vcore is increasing bcoz ur just change the htt value with it the clock too from 2.7-3.3 so need more vcore....its the same if u played with the vcore manually...execpt that if u pump the vcore manually u can control the amount but letting it goes auto it will pump the vcore as much as it thinks it needs.... haaa...that one can burn ur chip... btw, does anyone here know what is TMPIN0 in Hardware Monitor stands for?? the tempreature reading is quite high there & its not the NB or SB as i touch it, it just warm |
