for phenom/phenom II, there will be mode for this, ganged/unganed.

if gang, thy will run like 1 stick 128bit; if unganged will run 64bit + 64bit,

iinm, gang only for both master, or both slave slot only, if 1 master, 1 slave cnt gang,;;; and the ram should be the same js able to gang,
ganged performance beter thn Unganged..

ganged is wat i say js nw thy run in 128bit, and Unganged is 64b + 64b in parallel..

so for multitasking sometime unganged will work beter thn ganged(mayb) im not so sure...

this concept totally almost same with ur proc, single core 4000MHz and dual core 2000MHz

frm ur OC way, u only ply with multi, this not coz by other spec(HTlink/NB/RAM), mostly is on CPU only..
any way, u can use the same Vcore, but bump a step for ur vHT/vNB/vDIMM...

if still the same most probably is coz by not enuf juice for proc...

diff mobo diff Vc...

thn should upgrate ur cooler thou...
