Considering between Sennheiser HD201 or Audio-Technica ATH T22 or T24. Im in the UK at the moment and HD201 is retailing at 12 GBP on Amazon (including shipping tongue.gif ) Thats around RM60 after coversion to RM? The AT headphones aren't as cheap though. About GBP21 for T22 and GBP26 for T44. OR I could just pick up a pair of ATH T22's from Akabane when im back in Msia this Summer tongue.gif

Since Senns are so cheap there why don't save up and get at least HD555 or HD595..? U'll get much more satisfaction..

Wish I could but paying over 30 pounds for a pair of headphones at the moment is a no no. HD555 and HD595 cost around GBP80-90+ on Amazon sweat.gif

Just thought that 12 pounds for HD201 is a really good price.

Any opinions between the following headphones?

Sennheiser HD205
Audio Technica ATH T22
Audio Technica ATH T44

Not much of a margin in terms of price on Amazon UK. Mainly used to listen to rock and R&B.

Finally, someone replied.
Thanks =)

Actually, i can get m-50 for around 500.
SJ5, is it suitable for musicians?

Thanks again. Any other suggestions?

About the ATH SJ5. Anyone knows where to purchase them locally? Well besides Bluetin JP is there anywhere else? I asked Bluetin Sg but it seems that they do not have this item in their inventory. Advised me to go straight to Bluetin JP

Why don't you try the Bulk section? There's a couple of forumers here that are selling Audio Technica headphones.

Yea i did actually. Apparently they only have SJ1 and SJ3 but no sign of SJ5.

I got a KCS75 recently and burn in more than 100 hours but feel it is lack of bass to me (and me myself only).
I am thinking of getting another portable for outdoor/ office use and browsed through Head-Fi then short listed the following: PortaPro (~RM190), PX100 (~RM230), and K518DJ (~RM330). Among these seems like K518DJ is more high end from those reviews but it is also the most expensive of the three.
Since I felt the sound of KCS75 is not so suitable, do you think PortaPro or PX100 will suit me? Should I go a step further to the K518DJ? I will need to budget before buying the K518DJ. sad.gif
Thanks.

PortaPro and PX100 are both on the same platform with the KSC75 SQ wise in my opinion. Tried them all before but I have to say that sound leakage is gonna be a nightmare for outdoor/office use. Everyone near you will be able to listen to whatever u're listening to. Imagine yourself walking into a lift with your headphones on and everything goes quiet when the doors shut while Mariah Carey goes over the high pitches. *Glares from around*

Tried the K518dj too as my friend owns a pair. Have to say that it sounds great but long wearing comfort is questionable. It fits him perfectly unfortunately not for me as the headband seems to extend flat over the top and it presses onto my head. Probably its just the shape of my head. Besides that the K518dj sounds really really good. Would've gotten a pair if it wasn't for the headband issue.

Maybe one of the sifu's can recommend you a cheaper pair of headphones for outdoor/office use if the k518dj is out of your budget. But if you end up deciding on the K518dj u might wanna give it a try first to see if it fits you well
