i want recommendations.

i live at home with my parents so i need to get set of headphones to enjoy music/gaming. i do have sennheiser earphones but the wire casing has come off due to some defect or something, and i kind to have grown to dislike earphones.

so now i want a headphone. something i can wear comfortably for hours.

i have been eyeing sennheiser 650hd but am still open to suggestions.

especially since i game on my psp almost most of the time, i heard that the psp would not be able to pump enough juice to fully experience what a 650hd can do.

i dont want to buy an amp for it.

price range under 2000, 1500 range preferred but may consider more expensive ones if really worth it.

thanks in advance

i plan to use the headphones on the pc too, which i have a fatality xfi pro soundcard or something.

yeah i ve heard it really is wasting a hd650 for a psp, that so most probably i ll have a look into the audio technica thingy.

btw where can i find one of those? midvalley?

i think i have an ear infection (my ears can get itchy when i wear earphones and the skin at my ear hole dries up similar to a scab only bloodless. it is not wax) or something so iems are definitely out for me... used to love them if it werent for that....
