Anybody know these two's performance, tried them both before ?

SoundMagic PL30 --- VSound VS-R02

I can't comment on the VSonics. But I can vouch for the PL30s though. For less than RM100 they are excellent IEMs. Overall good SQ but with slightly weak bass. Although since it's so cheap, you can throw in a Fiio E3 or E5 amp to make up for the bass.

Give some burn-in time though. My initial burn-in was less than 50 hours. They were OK, but once I used them for a total of more than 50 hours, they really sounded nice biggrin.gif They were my first choice before my RE2s came in biggrin.gif

Haha, I don't recall any gd Shure products that's around Rm400, try to do some research about the IEM above, some of them are way better than Shure at the same price, it's just that it's hardly seen in M'sia that's why few ppl aware of their existence xD

Well, it's the way the Malaysian market is. Price is still an important factor, and people here don't care too much about music quality, as long as it has "boom boom" tongue.gif So, Malaysian market will always be dominated by Sony, Philips, SonicGear, Plantronics, etc. Whilst Shure and Sennheiser has good presence here, I don't see it as popular as the others, mainly due to the price.

It could've been worse, but thanks to Apple's iPod and the emergence of Apple resellers, they are starting to bring in a lot of hi-end stuff, limited as they may be smile.gif

If you like lots of bass, Atrio is the best. If you like more detail, Phonak is better.
