Hello Fellow Hi Fidelity Lovers!! I am a Custom Knife Maker From Maine Who Also Rebuilds/Restores Vintage Audio Equipment. Sansui Being My Vintage Brand Of Choice. I Also Have A Small Home Recording Studio With Several Pair Of Varied Cans. My Favorite Two Pairs Being AKG K702's And A much less expensive set that has superb Bass response and not too shabby elsewhere Eartool Equation RP21's, When a friend suggested these to me and raved about them costing less than $100 (One Hundred US Dollars) I was skeptical to say the least. But They have become my Cans of choice Even over the 702's!!! I use them for my portable listening chores (Sony Video Walkman NWZ-S736FBNC) I also have AKG K140 & AKG K240 MK II's. I realize That the AKGs Have A Much More Open "Airy" Fidelity Quality To Them And A Lot Of Audiophiles Here Will Think I Am A Little (Or Maybe A Lot) Crazy But I Am Stating My Personal Taste Here. I Am Also VERY Open To Your Astute Opinions On Your Headphone Choices And Welcome Your Recommendations. Stereo Listening Set Up: Accuphase E202 Integrated Amp (Owned since 1977). Pioneer Elite PDF07 CD Changer. 2 JBL L46's That Have had the 8" Woofers Replaced with Esotec MW 172 - Dynaudio 8" Mid/Woofers. Just bought a pair of Creative EP830's for In ear Listening They will be delivered in a couple of days Ill let you know, Have to be worth the $15 (RM53) This post has been edited by Black Bear Blades: May 8 2009, 04:49 PM
