QUOTE(karwaidotnet @ Mar 29 2009, 06:40 PM) u sure bro? coz Akabane is selling it at these price Can't really compared headphone VS IEM.... different league. As a user of both ATH & Bijou, I'd prefer ATH to Bijou in terms of SQ.AD SERIES ATH-AD500 535.00 AD SERIES ATH-AD400 393.00 AD SERIES ATH-AD300 275.00 anyway...may i know what's the characteristic of audio technica headphone? will there be any differences compare to mylar bijou IEM? coz im currently using that... i went to SONY shop the other day and tried one of its headphone which is selling for RM3xx. the sound is pretty nice to me... so i thought if SONY can be that good at that price, perhaps other specialist products would sound even better at that price range as well... Sony's cans sounds good, but the price is steep. if u getting ATH from the bulk, you can get similar or better quality with lower price. you'll never really go wrong with ATH cans. |

Akabane raised the price for ATH cans few months ago due to the uprising JPY (and also drop in MYR).

Mylarone Bijou, level 4 = clarity. as the level decrease, bass are getting heavier.
refer to walabies for more detail. |

QUOTE(hazardcradle @ Mar 31 2009, 11:02 AM) Hi everyone.. i have a couple of question that need to be asked and i hope this is the right place. Today my Audio technica headphone "rosak" and there's nothing that i can do except to buy a new one. Here's the questions~ Monitoring headphone you mentioned?1)Anyone have used Audio Technica ATH-PRO5V? How is it? 2)How about ATH-PRO5 MS? 3)and also how about Creative Aurvana DJ headphone? 4) how to determine the sound quality of the headphone (frequency response, etc)? i've tried to google but as you know, there are a lot of rubbish in the internet. I'm seriously in need of monitoring headphone. If you guys have better recommendation, please do let me know. my budget is around £60 or RM370, but i can consider the high price if the sound quality is reasonable. Many Thanks Personally used ATH-M50, got it from Akabane. consider a major upgrade from M30, but the price may be too steep. SQ-wise, M50 is the winner for sure, and quite comfortable too. I also wonder whether Sony monitoring headphone around same price as M30 can really perform on par with M30? Local Sony shop selling one at RM 250. |

QUOTE(reevephon @ May 9 2009, 09:48 AM) Can anyone suggest me a good wireless headphone with deep bass and crystal clear audio experience, with the budget below RM300 is preferred. Prefer ergonomic neckband design because this type of wireless headphone provide the most comfortably to the user, as I'm wearing the spec all the time. a good wireless headphone usually cost more than that.... unless you're talking about bluetooth headphone.PS: I will be used the wireless headphone for my mobile phone as well as the laptop. |

QUOTE(lightonokira @ May 14 2009, 07:17 PM) This KSC 75, Mylarone & ATH-CK32 (I think you mean CK32) are good choices.KOSS KSC 75 ![]() or this Steelseries Siberia In-Ear ![]() or this CrossRoads MylarOne X3i & XBi ![]() or this Audio Technica ATH-CK3 ![]() going to use for gaming, and my Meizu KSC 75 can be taken out of the list if noise-isolation is part of your choices also, but anyway most forumers agreed that this headphone is great, esp after some recablings. MylarOnes are now upgraded by the Bijous. Refer Walabies or Yuheng about it. CK-32, tested it and find it still OK. Dunno how is it compared to the Mylarone Bijou but since it's an Audio Technica so the quality is there. |

QUOTE(surfer89 @ May 22 2009, 04:31 PM) hey guys,im actually looking for a good pair of headphones with noice cancellation,my budget is rm250-rm300 only, and i normally listen to music with lots of bass..can u guys recommend me sumthin?thx.. within that budget you can't get an NC earphone. but you still can get good IEM with good noise-isolation, such as Mylarone Bijou. Might suggest you get level 2 or 3. Refer to yuheng or walabies as they're selling it.QUOTE(ridzyroo @ May 22 2009, 04:41 PM) I'm looking for cheap, durable earphones that sound good...warranty sounds good too Mylarone Bijou, RM 170. either level 3 or 4 will do for you. I using level 4, the clarity is there and the bass isn't disappointing as well. please refer to yuheng or walabies for it.I'm hoping for good clarity and deep bass Budget: <RM100 but if they are really durable I'm willing to spend RM150-200 p/s : I go through 4-5 headphones a year cause I'm a very heavy user (public transport, cycling)...my philips one that I just got 2 months ago has lost sound in both sides... QUOTE(reevephon @ May 22 2009, 05:20 PM) Can anyone recommend me a earphone with good bass and clear sound that budget below RM100, I know with this budget it couldn't get a very good earphone but at least it's worth to value. SoundMagic PL series, search around the Bulk section. |

cheap one, below RM 100 you can get FiiO E5, but not really serious amping lar, just for fun. some budget earphone benefits from this E5 amp, such as SoungMagic PL.

Bijou 2 is said to be more bassy than Bijou3, so is up to you to decide.
Bijou4 doesnt show significant boost with E5, not even with the volume. if wanna drive Bijou, gonna get other amps. |

QUOTE(y_owez @ May 27 2009, 11:16 AM) thanks. well i meant average for wireless scope. hah all in one headphone, if you want real good one must have cost alot. besides, at this moment had no idea there's such thing as wireless + mic headphone. i would like to use in the kitchen, living room etc where the source is in my room. so i think wireless is better than bluettoh in this case.well i prefer brand new in these kinda item. i dont need stuff like super bass + + or such..it would be great if the hp has mic too. so i dun have to have so many other stuff when webcaming.. one for all is great. |
