In-ear monitors (IEM) or canalphones. Wiki or Google for further information.

Calm down there dude. No need to get upset. lol

I'm not sure about K77 but in general AKG cans have great SQ with amazing bass compared to the Sennheisers which have less bass and generally sound thinner.

And with a budget of RM300, you can also get Audio Technica cans. ATH-AD300 or ATH-M30. Both have good overall sound.

The ATH-M30 is close back design, will it be not comfortable if i listening songs for long hours??
Also that ATH-M30 is 65ohms,can it be drive easilly if my source is laptop?? Im considering buying a portable cd player for it..
*
There is always the ATH-AD300 if you prefer an open back. But i find that full-size cans are the most comfortable type of headphones around for long hours usage, be it close- or open-back.

It has been known that the M30 is an easy to drive cans and almost any kind of portable player can do the job with ease. No amp is necessary. So a laptop shouldn't have any problem driving this baby.

what are the best headphones i can squeeze out of RM200?
*
If you can squeeze RM20 more, get yourself an ATH-M30 from Akabane@DrJackel for RM220.

It's the best headphone there is for that price range.

My Sony EX71 finally rosak after years == , using my Grado SR60 now.. any good earphone to recommand around RM200 ,too much choices in previous post ( biggrin.gif )
*
If you still prefer the warm sound your late EX71 makes, you should go for Bijou which provides pretty much the same sound signature (warm) but with a whole lot better clarity and detail.

I suggest Bijou 3. You could go for 2 if you're a total basshead. 1 being the most bassy of them all and 4 has the least bass in the Bijou series.

I will take some photo of my earphone when I am free.. but so far I would say the bass in this earphone is not as "bumpy" as my EX71 , but is sufficient and clarity wise is better , hopefully it will sound even better after 50-100 hours usage/burn in.
*
Oh please do. =) And with a little bit of your personal review i hope.

Post it in the SoundMAGIC thread if you will.

i wish to buy sennheised hd218 .. issit a good deal for my budget of rm220... or anything else better
*
Dunno much about HD218 but it's a portable i believe? If you prefer a portable, you could check out Audio Technica ATH-SJ3 or ATH-FC700 for your budget.

Could someone recommend a few earphones for me? Budget <RM 400, easily obtainable in KL (either in shop or Garage Sale/Bulk Order). Pref IEM, but will be facing gym use, so sweatproof is a must.

Using with my mobile & pc, listening mp3 music & podcasts as well as divx/xvid videos.
*
erm with your budget there's plenty i guess. i'm surprised no one else here made any suggestions. lol

i could recommend you a few CrossRoads iems, but the microphonics is quite bad if you wanna use it for gym, jogging, or any other activities that involves a lot of movement.

if you're willing to redirect your question to bro walabies, he probably can give a better suggestion. his bulk thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=586559

Thanks! Hv asked him for recommendations, any opinion on Phillips SHE-9850, Shure SCL2 & Shure SE115 for gym usage?
*
Never tried any of those, so can't help you there mate. lol

You could google around for reviews for those iems if you're wondering how the sound quality would be like.

btw, im still considering which to buy. earphone or head phone doh.gif

for headphone i was thinking audio-technica T22 and for earpiece i'll consider CX500 smile.gif
*
What about ATH-M30? The price is a bit step up from T22 but it's the best priced monitoring headphones around.

i couldnt find that at the website sad.gif

at www.play.com or www.hifiheadphones.co.uk, 1 step up is T44. anyone here used that before?

btw, how is the bass for audio technica?
*
The T22 should have a pretty decent bass and good music/vocal separation. probably not as good as other higher end models but good enough for its price.

Shure SCL2 or Shure SE115 fits your budget but the bass is not something to die for.

Not that many people are willing to spend a fortune on equipment alone just for the sake of higher music quality.

Having a decent gear that can be easily obtained is already enough for most people to enjoy their music.

i'm looking for new headphone, to replace my aging SHP805 that no longer can satisfy my ears, is budget around rm250 is good enough to buy good headphone? currently eyeing on audio technica AD300, is it good enough?
*
ATH-AD300 or ATH-M30 is the best you can get with your budget. Best balanced overall sounding headphones with good price/performance ratio.

Lurk around to find more reviews.
