Even right now, I still think SHP2700 has the best sound quality among all sub RM100 price range headphones I've tested smile.gif (especially the fact that you can get it for RM75 in Sri Comp last time I checked)

Yea, ATH-T22 is a decent choice as well. But from my impression (if i may),

Bass: T22 > SHP2700
- T22 really emphasized on bass but is too bassy for my liking and the sound can be muddy at times. While SHP2700 has better detail and the bass is just perfect for my taste, not too much and not too less.

Comfort: SHP2700 > T22
- for long hours of usage, i find the SHP2700 is way more comfortable. The T22 can be a bit too clamping. If i had to say, i think Philips has the most comfortable budget cans in the market.

Hi, I'm looking for a headphone. My budget is no more than RM100.

One thing I noticed about the headphones I bought in the past is that they are VERY uncomfortable. I only bought Sonic Gear ones, so maybe it's their fault. But I've also tried a lot of headphones in different cyber cafes and all of them hurt my ears after a few hours of usage.

The problem is that they pin my ear and that causes a lot of discomfort and even pain.

Is it possible for you guys to recommend me a headphone that is most comfortable for my budget? I will be using it mainly for movies and music but bass does not need to be strong because I personally dislike strong bass. I prefer a clearer sound, especially voices.

Hi all. Im not really an audiophile, please help. biggrin.gif

Im looking for a headphone for with my Sony Ericsson w580 and my laptop. My current Sony-issued earphone hurts my ear, so Im looking for something more comfortable yet portable. Budget: RM 150. Only for music and occasional movie. My audio collection consist of instrumental, jpop, jrock and such. Small, light headpiece and foldable design would be a plus.

Question; if I connect microphone-less headphone to my Sony Ericcson adapter I can still make calls, right? Thanks in advance. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for replying. smile.gif Sorry I have to ask, is IEM the kind that goes inside the ear? If so, I prefer not to have those, cause personal experience with Sony's earphone makes me ear ache badly. And yes, the adapter have somekind of mic on it. I was thinking of buying Sony MDR-410LP but dont like the headpiece design. Any suggestions?

4 ur budget range there is ATH-ONTO n ATH-FW3 buttons both r portables and lightweight... but plase take note dat portables r usually not full-sized cans so it can be quite uncomfy... but dats juz my opinion coz i never tried any of those mayb its not like wat i expected...

With right configuration and components,SHP2700 proved to be better on bass.

Windows Media Player 10 -> Creative Extigy -> pa2v2 amp -> Philips SHP2700

I never look back on others after I tried some trance songs with it icon_rolleyes.gif

But I still respect your opinion about it though.No harm done k?
