overall quality K530 stands out or juz the punchy bass?
*
IMHO, there's no exact winner in sound quality between these two. It is simply a toss-up, because both have different approach.

I said that i prefer the K530 over A500 because to me the bass of K530 is more presentable than the A500. But others with brighter taste might lean more towards A500.

While the K530 may emphasized more on bass, the A500 have better clarity & detail and wins over K530 on that area. That said, this is just my opinion based on my personal preference. So your mileage may vary.

And you don't have to take everything i've said word for word. Think carefully what kinda sound fits your taste before you go spending precious money on any of these cans.

i know my question may be a silly one but is it possible to get a decent headphone under Rm150?
*
It is a silly question. Nah, i'm just jerkin' yer chain. lols

Philips SHP8900 is a pretty decent choice. Tho it may be priced higher but it shouldn't cost you more than RM200. Depends on which shop you go i guess.

Or you could try check out Audio Technicas here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/601859

The ATH-T22, ATH-T44, or ATH-M20 should be within your budget.

I'm afraid Audio Technicas or Grados might not be able to give you the amount of bass you're desiring. Besides, Grados aren't normally the type of headphones people would go for where gaming is concerned. But if you really have to choose between ATs and Grados, I'd say Audio Technica A series (ATH-A400 for your budget) is the most suitable for gaming, since it's closed-back and should provide sufficient amount of bass. Anyhing else would be, Beyerdynamic perhaps?

You might want to redirect your question here (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/586559) for better answers. Not sure if i can help much. lol

what about t-22? iv read some review bout it, it seems it has a better bass than shp2700
*
Yea, ATH-T22 is a decent choice as well. But from my impression (if i may),

Bass: T22 > SHP2700
- T22 really emphasized on bass but is too bassy for my liking and the sound can be muddy at times. While SHP2700 has better detail and the bass is just perfect for my taste, not too much and not too less.

Comfort: SHP2700 > T22
- for long hours of usage, i find the SHP2700 is way more comfortable. The T22 can be a bit too clamping. If i had to say, i think Philips has the most comfortable budget cans in the market.

With right configuration and components,SHP2700 proved to be better on bass.

Windows Media Player 10 -> Creative Extigy -> pa2v2 amp -> Philips SHP2700

I never look back on others after I tried some trance songs with it icon_rolleyes.gif

But I still respect your opinion about it though. No harm done k?
*
I see. Why would there be any harm? lol i appreciate you voicing out your opinion as well. =)

My audition of both the T22 and SHP2700 was from a competent source only, using 320kbps mp3 files, and without employing any external soundcard or amps.

But i think any cans would sound a lot better if paired with a right/good soundcard and/or amp.

Guys, I am considering for SoundMagic PL50 or CrossRoadBijou 3. T_T
Which one is better? I use for listening MP3 mostly, Bass, or Soft music also got listen. Can any sifus give me some comment??
My Budget is below RM 200.
*
Go with Bijou 3 if you want to hear more bass in your music (warm/bassy sound).

But if you looking for something more neutral with a balanced (all rounder) sounding, then PL50 is the one for you.

It seems that the amp helps clearing the clarity of T22 abit but it's still muddy nonetheless doh.gif
*
I guess T22 is something them analytical listeners should really avoid.

hey guys, it's the sound leakage for philips shp2700 bad?
*
The isolation is pretty good. You don't have to turn up the volume much to enjoy the most of it. At least not in a plane i think, coz it should be pretty quiet in flight. Unless you're flying onboard those turboprop aircraft.

campare between these headphones ,Audio Technicas ATH-AD300, A300 or M30,
1) which one you think is better for music listening ? prefer clarity and every detail
2) AD300 , A300 ,,, AD and A , what is the difference ?
*
1) All of them have good clarity and detail. That's what AT cans are good at.

2) AD is open-back while A is closed-back. M30 is closed-back.

Open-back cans sounds airier and may have wider soundstage than the closed-backs. Closed-back cans sounds warmer.
