Xbox 360 or PS3 games Zone Restriction?

Guys,
Forgive me for my ignorance. If i get/buy a Xbox 360 games or a PS3 games from the States (USA), would it have any problem playing on the console that i bought here in Malaysia. Does the console games have zone restriction ? Thanks. p/s: my cousin is coming back home from the states and he's promising me a bunch of games that he collected while he was there.  |

this list is not complete but u can ask him to check his games:
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-xbox360...uide-49-en.html if some games are not compatible, ask him to sell off 1st. xbox360 sold here is coded NSTC/J. |

the matter for PS3 is..
blu-ray movies.. its region lock... which mean u only can play blu-ray movies from Region A.. |

yes all ps3 games is region free , ps2 games is still region lock for ps3.
