QUOTE(Guriseruda @ Dec 23 2008, 02:04 AM) When you mention D9 and D5, do you mean DVD 9 (8.5GB++) and DVD 5 (4.7GB++)? Try searching for this free software called HJSplit for Windows or Split and Concat for Mac. I use it to split my files into different segments to fit on different discs. |

QUOTE(Guriseruda @ Dec 23 2008, 02:04 AM) Splitting movie is easier.Splitting game, very hard, for there are so many directories, and some are more important than the others. Splitting movie, all you need is to rip it from the D9, and use a utility to split it to under 4.3GB size, and then burn the splitted files back into 2 D5s. |

QUOTE(TechnoDude94 @ Dec 23 2008, 02:45 AM) WinRar is paidware, therefor it has to be bought but I'm sure TS would prefer freeware that's widely used. It's more of a shareware than a paidware. And you can still use it even after the grace period, which I currently using right now. Just need to handle the random nag screen only... if he really want a freeware, he can try 7zip. |

QUOTE(FarCry3r @ Dec 23 2008, 04:55 PM) Actually, TS can use those software that I recommended and split the files and burn it into separate DVDs (4.7GBs+/-) and copy the already split files and folders back from DVDs and compile them and install it from there although it may be a hassle. |

Agree with you. For those Mac users who want a similar program like HJSplit, I'd recommend Split and Concat. |
