believe me, it is not worth it to buy a separate HDD

i just bought my new arcade here in NZ. unfortunately it's not jasper. ask the retailer about the new jasper and the counter guy gave me this free weird look and insisted latest is elite

selling consoles without having knowledge about it is a bliss
seriously, i'm surprised that NZ still haven't got Jasper.

Since you wanna 3 games only, you might want to consider buy 20gb HDD.
You have no idea how noisy the DVD drive can be when playing games.

u still need to use the dvd drive...but less if u buy a hdd...so u can install games in it thus the games load faster and less work for ur dvd drive...

Install NXE to your xbox (connect to LIVE normally, and you'll be forced to update). In the menu before starting game, press Y for option and select install to hard drive. Later on you just need to put the DVD on the drive start the game normally. It'll automatically load from HDD. No more noise from the DVD drive. Cheers
ps: if you take out disc while playing, you'll be force to quit the game. even though it loads from HDD
