QUOTE(leawitt @ Oct 25 2016, 01:11 PM) OK, if you're an office boy.Is this outfit for work or what? If it's casual, I still think shirts with concealed buttons look childish. And why is your shirt hanging out like that, tuck it in properly. Keep your sleeves down unless you are actually doing some work or want to show off something. Fit wise looks like a ruler. No silhouette of anything, but I wouldn't blame you. It's not easy to find cheap clothes with a proper cutting. |

QUOTE(attacusatlas @ Sep 22 2016, 10:40 AM) Attacus, one of your legs look deformed haha. Just have to say it, maybe it's the posture or the cut of the jeans. I get that a lot too with skinnier cuts, the flow from thigh to calves just gets mucked up somewhere along the line. |

QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Dec 3 2016, 09:23 AM) Just sharing, apologies if it offends you .. The jacket does seem a bit tight, with too long sleeves. The pants are fine though, it's not meant to be a formal look. Very relaxed vibes going on thereMy 2 cents -Jacket does not fit, douchey belt, trousers has too much creasing (half and half though) .. |

QUOTE(Verticalclutch @ Jan 4 2017, 06:00 PM) Clearly you dont know what you're talking about. The pants are fine? sure. with the pool of cloth he has around his ankles he can donate some to you. Also im pretty sure you like this ELVEE belt too. Releks bruh, let them have their expensive belts and whatnot. He's not the pinnacle of fashion for sure, he doesn't have a proper tailor. But attitude looks OK, chill aje. Not trying too hard. Probably some silver spoon Hampton spawn. Let them enjoyRelaxed look? pfft. |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Jan 18 2017, 10:41 PM) [attachmentid=8418524] Chyan, please kill the last look. Go to mall see a bunch of hellspawns wearing the same thing just like that, it's getting a bit boring. When you're skinny, pulling the yeezy look is really silly.1. Uniqlo mandarin collar shirt 2. Zalora navy knitted non-cuffed joggers 3. Nixon watch 4. Adidas Ultraboost 2.0 Core Black Some of the days; » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « As you can see, my shoe & watch collection is little to none, thus the frequent rotations. |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Feb 2 2017, 12:48 AM) Notes taken. Not really what I'd wear usually. Chyan, how old are you in fact? I'm guessing very early 20s from the way you dress? So it was CNY, no red. Though, the only thing red was my beads on my wrist bangle. 3 days of mandarin collar. I had another day dressed down a bit with a standard black tee and slim fit mid-crotch tapered grey slacks (tucked) coupled with black leather oxfords but didn't take any shots. Don't like the shirts slightly pulled out from the waistband, it looks juvenile to me. And I noticed something, what you wear is often dictated by how it fits right? In your opinion you subscribe to traditional fit notions on how everything should look. So in my opinion, it looks perfectly fine from the outset. But why not be more adventurous, instead of looking like every tom dick harry. The line between dressing well, and dressing fashionable is quite clear. Express your personality a bit, use your clothes to be an expression of your personality. The denim thread has a good thing going with their workmen aesthetics, you could opt for anything you like really. Check more lookbooks, avoid lookbook.nu or reddit |

QUOTE(Chyan @ Apr 11 2017, 09:39 PM) Mid 20s. The place I live is unlike KL or any other bigger cities so I try not to be seen as a try-hard. But yes, I don't fancy "exotic" fashion which made my style mundane. I've just started working not long ago like any other freshie so my choice of apparel is like you've seen, pretty limited. I try to not splurge on fashion in the time being as other priorities are much more important to me now. It will change that's for sure. Being born without a silver spoon also doesn't give me the advantage of owning more "luxurious" brands. The way you dress reflects what you are, cliché but not many understands it. Clothing for men is a function over form thing, we wear what suits our purpose be it a suit to the boardroom or chinos for those summer afternoons. P/S: This thread is pretty dead. There's a lot of "fashion" that are what to say, copycats for what celebrities wear. Kanye with his ridiculously cut pants, and jogger pants which carry over from the "Let's show off your kicks" fad. But these are transient, it's what H&M and Zara pushes season after season. So choose, whether you'd like to follow fast fashion and be a victim to the consumerists trend that plague every teenager. Cool looking stuff that falls apart after a season's wear or look so passe. Or choose pieces which reflect who you are, what you want to be. Like that crazy expensive suit, which you know would last you a lifetime or a pair of boots which will take anything you throw at it. Classics. Choose life. Don't splurge on fashion. Splurge on clothes, which appreciate your function and are well made. |
