QUOTE(don8ld @ Sep 23 2009, 04:36 PM) Hello !!! t-shirt looks a little big.. what size are they? This is my first post in the " What are you wearing today " thread hehe. This is what I wore today to go to KLCC ><" BTW, I walked there, that explained the glasses .. Lets start from the top shall we Long Sleeve Top from Topman Shorts from Sub-Zero LV Belt from LV Boutique Sunglasses from Loewe Messenger Bag from Loewe Watch from Toy Watch Please comment on my style and please tell me if I'm committing any fashion crime Thanks !! i'd probably pull up the sleeves, the long sleeve t-shirt doesn't look too flattering on you.. and definitely untuck.. tucking in just to flash your LV belt makes you look like, er a flasher.. lol.. QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Dec 17 2009, 01:48 PM) lol sorry bro but dun u think its a lil bit too much for you to go pcfair with that kinda outfit + the pants... hmmm too broad? ya a bit 70s :/ i wear something similar like that all the time..and how is it too much? just because he's wearing a jacket? its funny how i find so many malaysians wear hoodies, sweaters, etc and its fine.. but when it comes to a suit jacket, all of a sudden its too much.. |

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Dec 17 2009, 02:58 PM) No its not only that piece.. i understand your style im sorry but then im going to have to say that you probably don't know much about formal wear then.. that is a khaki suit jacket, from the looks of the material, it is probably cotton, that jacket is as casual looking as it gets.. wearing that for your prom night is like wearing a t-shirt to your relative's wedding..It's an opinion |

i don't mean to attack you personally, its just im really sick of so many people who only know how to put on t-shirt and jeans.. anything different is considered over-dressed..
i went out for a drink yesterday and was wearing a dress shirt (one with epaulates and double pockets on the chest) with SHORTS and sneakers.. and one of my friends could actually ask me "hey why you dressing so formal?" Added on December 17, 2009, 3:30 pm QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Dec 17 2009, 03:23 PM) Forgiven true what you said about difference in one's preference.. but you have to understand that actually there are proper definitions about what is considered casual, semi-casual, formal, etc.. and as were talking about the english attire, there are actually proper dress codes to follow when attending special events such as prom, funerals, black-tie event, etc..Ya I don't know much about formal, material, fabric and so on and so fourth. I only cared about the outlook of the style. Different people have different taste in style, its like what you said if i wear that to a prom night, it's like wearing a t shirt to my relative's wedding. For you its too casual, for me its too much. It's totally up to you on how you judge one's outfit whether its too sloppy or too red-carpet-ish. I'm not saying that you're wrong, nor I'm saying that I'm right. It's my opinion, no offence to anyone It's true that I don't wear much formal. Whereby I don't have much chance to wear em'. From what I can see from your pictures in this thread, 90-100% of them are formal for me. It can be counted as casual for you but not for me. i try not to get too caught up with mixing and matching when it comes to casual wear.. the shoes actually aren't white (which may make me look like a st john member), their cream so there's a slight difference in tone.. but i think brown loafers wld be a good choice here, too bad i just dont have any (yet)..

QUOTE(ammar @ Mar 15 2010, 01:04 AM) no offence but, this is wayyy over dressed yo. none take, and yes i do realize that it is considered over dressed in malaysia.. but then again, any additional layering is..in dublin we wear those during the winter/spring period. anyway. its all how you define satisfaction by wearing what you like. QUOTE(POYOZER @ Mar 15 2010, 01:17 AM) lucky for me, i don't conform to what you think is suitable or not.. |
