May I know if there are any shops in pj or kl where they can give advice on the type of sunglasses based on face shape? I think the shop keepers would need to have a better sense of taste in this case.
My dilemma is that I do not know what is my face shape category. I think i used to be a square, but as i put on weight this square became more like round to me. lol.
Thinking of getting a good pair of sunglasses, either aviator or wayfarer, but dunno which 1 suits me better.
Is there anyone that can help me out? Tq

Put the sunglass on your face, and ask yourself you look good or not.

You can try Proeyes, they have lots of outlets in malls.

I went and try a pair of Maui Jims over the weekend. On the website they said suitable for large faces, I have a large face. Guess what? It didn't fit me, at all. So yeah, you be the judge of yourself.

Hey all,

Does Oakley warranty covers scratches on the lens? If I go to Revelstoke Sdn Bhd office can they change the lens?

No. That's due to your own negligence. If the color coating comes off the lens or frame, then yes.

Warranty is for workmanship, not your mistake.

Any1 know where can i get serengeti sunglasses? Any1 tries this brand?
*
I'm owned this brand for more than a year.
-Spectral Control
-Photochromic for all models. VLT range from 24-8%.
-Polarized/Non-polarized

My nature of work - construction
I've spend most of the day outdoor(bright sunny day) and indoor...concurrently.
And I've never took my shades off.

My experienced (555nm lens):
-Spectral Control lens enhanced the view... and slightly contrast in yellow green red colour.

-Photochromic works well and you wont noticed it.
The darker the lenses, the contrast it will become.

-Polarization, as good as other branded brand i think.

Once, i pushed my Serengeti to the max:
-Shades on and drive till 7.30pm. (januari 2014 punya time)
-Driving in heavy rain, no problem.
(i think Serengeti Drivers or Drivers Gold lens more better for driving purpose)

Price wise?
Subjective.

The main reason for picking Serengeti to other brands is because of the lens. I own a cool pair of San Remo and the lens is made of glass. I would highly recommend this brand to others because of the quality of the lens and also the frame.

I have no problem wearing them while driving or even wearing them indoors. I would definitely invest in another pair for different occasions (i.e. golfing, etc.)

I'm looking for a good pair of sunglasses that can be worn over my normal prescription glasses. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hello, im thinking of getting a pair of sunglasses for my bf. He's already wearing rayban. I'm thinking of getting him oakley this time around. Can someone tell me the price range of oakley. Is the price standardized for all shops or shops can simply mark up the price?

Hi guys,

Just got my Serengeti Luca yesterday from Focus Point..

http://www.serengeti-eyewear.com/products/luca.aspx

So far very satisfied with the quality and the performance might be on par with oakley..

Cheers

anyone knows if normal optical shops will do just lenses with me providing the frame? i'm planning to purchase rayban frames online due to cheaper price, but they usually come with the lenses without power, so i would like to know if our optical shops will accept it.

Any shop will do but of course they will not give you any warranty on the frame damage because its not their product.

Not all rayban frame can change lens.
