guys, I have a few question regarding the foldable wayfarer

- is the size of the frame the same between the polarized and non-polarized, does the size that we bought online and the one available here in malaysia
the same, coz i heard there's "asian fit" size for asian

-since there is no current stock at optic stores in malaysia, is it wise to purchase it online? will the size be the same or slightly bigger (for westerners)

- on the official rayban website, http://www.ray-ban.com/usa/products/rb4105/601-58 is stated that the lenses are polarized grey in color,
while the one that i found elsewhere http://www.amazon.com/RayBan-Ray-Ban-RB410...0647747&sr=1-11 is polarized green in color, does the foldable wayfarer comes with different lenses color, i'm looking for the polarized grey one

- since i'm going to buy it online, how does the warranty works, send the shades to them for international warranty?

the reason i'm asking this is because there's no foldable wayfarer at store that i can make comparison with, so really hope anyone can help me with this, thank you

you should go to uptown night markets where they sell those not-ori specs and see for yourself the not-ori ones. i saw that they have high-end not-ori that are so like ori and sold at rm100+ or rm200+ but still if you look closely people can see that those are not ori by the flaws here and there.

hmm does fake raybans have fine imprintment on the side bar; it is a very fine perfect logo imprinted even on such thin metal bar

well, i did went to paris miki and asked them about the shades that we bought online. it turns out that there's no warranty if you bought your shades online blink.gif shocking indeed. they also doesn't provide services for us to claim the warranty internationally through them. i guess if we bought the shade online, we just have to be extra careful then shakehead.gif

how about wearing women sunglasses? it is look weird? because people with oval face or long shape face really look nice with women sunglas. any idea? just curious.

if u look at a man wearing sunglass, can u determine is it women's or men's sunglass?

Here in Australia, its common and even cool to wear womens sunnies. As it is for guys to wear girls jeans.

Its actually very liberal here, in terms of fashion. Nobody in their right minds is gonna laugh at you just because you dress differently. Heck, it is even looked up upon, to try new styles and trends.

It makes sense..if i were the local distributor, no reason for me to claim warranty for u, u didnt get it from me. I think if u buy sunnies online, any warranty claims have to be online as well, cost incurred by urself of course.

please od not discuss price openly here.

You are putting the shop in "danger" coz other shops will complained to the suppliers.

Please be sensitive. If you got a good price from a particular shop, you can share it in private and not by posting openly here.

please be mindful before you post any comments.

thank you and hope you understand.

do sunglasses suppose to touch the cheek? Cause when i tried on Rayban, it touches my cheek.i worry in the future might hurt the skin. perhaps the nose support can help to reduce the prob?

Nicklaus. if it touch the cheek and it's pressing, it's not good. you will find uncomfy due to that. it wont hurt your skin i think.. just give you lil bit of wrinkle. nose support will 'drop' abit after awhile cuz nose area will get oily after awhile. IMO only horrr...

thats why we are in forum. dont want to spend more time on road for traffic jam, find parking etc.

for adjustment, you can ask assistant from the shop. they can adjust a lil bit according to ur nose and face.
