Just to share something...don't be fooled by the topnotes of a fragrance. When i say top notes i mean the smell you get for the 1st 30mins to an hour after spraying either on skin or paper strips. Top notes are mainly there to attract the customer into buying the perfume. One big mistake is making a decision to buy a perfume solely on how the perfume smells for the 1st 30 mins on paper. I have been disappointed a few times when i made buys based on the top notes.

A well designed perfume has many faces sometimes. What the perfume smells like maybe totally different 3 hrs later. If u only like the top notes and not the basenotes it is going to be a big waste of money for you. Actually the main part of a perfume is the basenotes because that part lasts the longest and often described as the soul of the fragrance.

The next time you decide to buy a perfume, spray it on your arm/wrist/back of hand and wait 3-4 hrs before deciding whether or not to buy it. This way saves you money as you may not like how a perfume smells 3-4 hrs later. If u think 3-4 hrs is too much time to wait then go ahead and buy the perfume based how it smells like after 30mins. Just don't complain when u discover that the RM200-RM300 u just spent is a complete waste of money.

As the saying goes for people, "Never judge a book by its cover"

For perfumes, "Never judge a perfume based on the top notes"

The Dior Homme sprayer does frustrate me sometimes. It's so precise that it needs a perfect amount of pressure to spray properly. Press too softly and I end up with a stream of perfume dripping down my neck. I've worn Dior Homme both in day and night and i find it versatile enough for either.

Diesel Fuel For Life smells too young for me. It will suit someone in high school or college.

i spray it on my chest from a distance

semll young?than it's ok for me since i have a young looking face(although im old actually) tongue.gif
