QUOTE(jonny4 @ Jan 23 2010, 03:59 PM) It used to be fairly easy to get at most YSL counters but in recent months there seems to be either some kind of distribution prob or they planning to close down the YSL counters. As I bought my bottle of RG a year ago, I am no longer sure which counters have stock and testers. Btw, I am referring to the male Rive Gauche (brown can) not the female Rive Gauche (blue can). QUOTE(Joey-kun @ Jan 23 2010, 09:49 PM) Thanks for the info, will head over to the counter and test it tomorow. |

I went to sogo KL today, tried out the ysl rive gauche, it smells unique, something like shaving cream, well it doesnt suit me as im just 19, others might think i smelled awkward. I guess it is more suitable for older guys.

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 20 2010, 01:48 AM) Rive Gauche grows on you..but I liked it the moment I smelled it the first time and bought it on the spot. I think as consumers we are conditioned by marketing that certain age groups will suit different scents. Well if u do wear Rive Gauche i'm sure the girls will notice u more haha...in a good way of course. Hahaha, maybe older girls, the scent is really different from others, i guess it is easy to be noticed and stand out from the crowd. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 20 2010, 12:03 PM) Isn't that what fragrances were created for in the first ? haha, but maybe im too young for that smell, i dont really love it coz it might smell awkward, well lets see how it goes when i grow older.I don't see the point in spending RM200 on a frag that smells so common that at least 5 guys in the office has a bottle. |
