I have a computer situated next to main door.(And I also have a 1.3 Megapixel webcam).
I want to ask if anyone knows a good software that will use my webcam to monitor the door, like surveillance camera.
Secondly, I want ask can anyone recommend me a video player which have features fast forward similar in a video tape fast forward but not the fast forward in VCD player which is "image by image" (FYI, the video tapes fast forward is the video "move very fast" instead of image by image)

Btw, my webcam is Genius islim1300

ya, i tried, its quite ok but I preferably look for more features such as set time limit and change file format. Plus I cant change the save folder path, so I always have to transfer the file each time I record.
Actually, what important is the fast forward things. Because it save my time for me to "scan the whole recorded video"
