QUOTE(DeanKueh @ Jan 1 2009, 02:46 PM) You have to think also, Singapore is so much smaller then us and they have 250 worth of bandwidth. And we need at least three times of that amount. Bandwidth doesn't come cheap. TM do have more subscribers though.

I've been trying to download google earth the whole night for over 5 times now. download just stops at 25% until it times out and I've gotten myself a premature installer. Recently I gotten many corrupted downloads with checksum fails too. Anyone else experiencing this? This happens ever since the fateful day my house got struck by lightning. Probably fried their DSLAM(I know nothing, don't blame me ) or something. Now, SNR Margin is hitting rock bottom and my noise is going sky high, and I only get full 512k speed during the morning to around evening. After that I'm doing like 20 kB/s zzzz even after stressing http, torrent, everything all at once to the max. Can't do online gaming while dloading anymore .
