A lady from nut called me yesterday saying their issue with the undersea cable was fixed as of 4/01/09. I have no idea how far it is true because i have no problem with US routing even though the undersea cable snapped.

What is funny is that , my connection to europe has been useless. Had been like this for the past 4~6 months. I had to use my US vpn to actually access my server in Europe.

Until mid november, when they introduced the 115 ip range to my area. 115 works extremely well to europe but worst with other sites.

Anyways, 2 days after the undersea cable snapped, all my other ip ranges had no problems with europe. Even the much dreaded 118 range.. I had no packet loss unlike before and can download at full speed. However, 115 range had packets loss. It was pratically useless.

Now , everything was going smoothly until the 4th of January. All my ip ranges had packet loss once again to europe and are totaly useless to traffic from europe. 115 However, is working just like before. Excellent speed to europe.

I was left wondering what is happening when 1 day later i got a call from TM , and this girl (she called me just a few days after the undersea cable snapped telling me tm will solve their issues by the 31st) . She told me that they have fixed their line as of 4/1/09.

I am wondering, that when they were fixing their issues, connection to europe has been great, but now that they fixed it totaly, it became like before... :S
