Yeap, I cant give it an 8 because Xp gui is like !@#$ but it is acceptable since it can be customized .... Im satisfied with other xp feature so far but still a long way to go , Hope windows 7 will do a much much more better job as I dont wanted to test Vista now.

I'd give Windows XP Professional a 9/10. It has a nice gui, simple and straightforward, a relatively low system requirement and good for gaming.
The only thing that makes Windows XP Professional suck is it's prone to more viruses than any other OS (since it's the more popular and widely used).

vista, 7

as i've been only used it 4 a couple of months, i thnk its still quite stable, although there r somethngy not really comfortable with, like it cant jump 2 where i wan through address bar anymore, like in xp, u can just type the location instead of finding through d directories.

I rate Windows 7 BETA Build 6956 = Rating number 9.
I rate Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 32-Bit = Rating number 8.
I rate Windows XP Professional SP 32-Bit = Rating number 8 (also).
I rate Windows Home Server 2007 = Rating number 10 when compared to Windows Server '03.

Voted 9 for Vista and Xp 64-bit. Does its job and fullfilled my request. Hardly crash and best of all, 8/10 of my frequent used application is 64-bit based.

gives my WinXP a 9... even if there are flaws, they should be a way out of it, patching or tweaking...
didn't give full mark because of the registry entries can accumulate to big size in time...

had been using w2k for >5yrs & it didnt fail me 1 single time. OS itself had nvr crashed, hung, bluescreened. least cpu usage & near to nil memory leak compare to any other flashy OSs.
later i had to changed to xp due to software compatibility issue, but still w2k is my personal fav OS.

w2k is meant for server thus the stability is much guarateed.
while xp is a cosmetic ver of 2k, with enhanced GUI & multimedia capability boost.

Actually I'm booting more than 4 OSes in my main computer. However, I'm not booting all the separate OSes from one HDD. My main computer has a few HDDs. flex.gif Btw, if you'd like to know how many physical HDDs I've got in my computer:

I've actually only got 7 physical HDDs. Those named under "Local Disk" are only counted as physical internal HDDs. Those labelled with the amount of space in the name @ the end are external HDDs.
