here's my "new" suit..

touches that has been done:
shoulders have been taken in by half-an-inch on each side..
shoulder padding has been trimmed..
body further tapered..
bottom of the pants slightly narrowed..
pants length shortened..

its near impossible to get a perfect picture at every angle as pictures are stagnant anyway.. all in all im pretty happy bout it..

hi, i'm new here. bought a cotton suit, brown or khakis in colour. its fused, 2 button, double vent. i know nothing bout suit. bought it coz its on sale n i like the colour n the material. but i do know this is abit bigger for me. the sleeve is abit too long coz i can't see the cuff. what else should i alter? the fit around the waist? the length? n any nice n cheap taylor that willing to alter this thing for me? thanks~

ohh, i really like jind's "new" suit. any possibility mine can look like that? haiz~

p/s: be nice with ur words. i really don't know anything, so don't scold me.

It looks OK. At least the shoulders seem to fit. Have the tailor slim down the sleeves, take away an inch or two from the waist, and you have an OK jacket to wear with jeans. Don't wear it with the pants.

jind our resident millionaire's son's suit cost 1.5K or thereabouts so you cannot compare. (But at least you have symmetrical shoulders.)

ohh, since the shoulder is ok so tailor can alter the rest of it? thats a good news then. hurm what about the length? can i ask them to shorten it abit or keep it that way? hurm, can they do that? i feel that its abit too long for me.

wear with jeans not the pants. point taken~ tq so very much.

yea, i know what jind's suit cost. one day maybe. hehe~ for now i can only afford the one on rack. n with the brand i think the price is quite ok. just that its BIG. silly me.

i think its pretty decent.. shoulders look great.. may be a little extra room at the chest.. length should be fine i suppose since you look like you're able to cuff the end of your jacket..

i see a little shirt cuff showing on your left sleeve so i guess the length should be fine..

is the jacket buttoned in the picture? something looks off there..

i think this pic is clearer.
