Halo 3 is like the most complete FPS title right now.
I'm not counting Gears of War 2 because it's not even an FPS.

Think about it.The campaign is long and epic,and playable with multiplayer.
It also features a generic but robust online multiplayer mode.

That's all you need.It's fully complete and fun.Style.

Halo3 is overrated in most areas

But Call of Duty 4 is short....
And IMO,for online,COD4=Halo 3 minus cool aliens and armor wearing men

Mostly cos of "that Dominic moment" that made me almost weep tears of manliness. Almost.

Halo 3, COD4 takes too little skill IMO with the amount of magnetism and auto aim implemented in that game.

CoD: World at War is a winner... and is comparably on par with Modern Warfare... just tat it is set in World War II. My vote goes to World at War for the potrayal of the pacific fight...

True, but that's merely giving yourself more challenge, not increasing the competitiveness. A truly great fps wouldn't give you the option to play itself and win the game for you.

i like Far Cry 2 the most...it requires the most patience and intelligence of the bunch...
