As topic , i just created an itunes account by using my father credit card...
Here is my question:
When i download software in app store which is stated free , will it still will charge me
any money??
I just wan to make sure so that i wont mess with any problem

if it is a "free" item .. then off course it is for free ....

whenever you click "free" or item with "price" ... itunes will update you with a "Invoice" from time to time ...

print out and keep the invoice... ( to cross check with credit card statement )

The apps show free mean no need $ to get the app. Only the apps show $ then need money to buy. The currency is USD. Please take note on it.

They will still sent an invoice to you even its free . Here is my list they sent to me. lol

i dun think will send bill to house but invoice to ur email address and charges if u buy any apps. if free apps no charges on the credit card bill. tat's all

Additionally, u can have as many Itunes account as u like and also u can get it for free. U can Google it like "free itunes account".
Choose as u feel suitable.

I think purchasing using CC is kind of expensive than using Gift Certificate. I recently purchase a $200 Gift Certificate for RM3xx and it is worth it than the standard price (RM7xx after conversion)

question 1 : why everytime i enter the itunes in my iphone, it will show that
" Cannot Connect to the Itunes Store , The iTunes store is not supported in this country."
question 2 is, whenever i download a software in app store, dunno y sometime the loading is not moving at all .

maybe because of your internet connection.

I try this before and you can only download as per where u register your Itune. If you register ur address ur adress in US, you can only download from US Itunes. If Malaysia.. Only Malaysia Itunes only.

Yeah.. Sometimes it stuck but if you dc and reconnect again. It works fine. Streamyx... you know. Haha. But I try in office using TLAN and its super fast and no delay at all so its normal mate. Good luck

I have a Payment Question :

Here's my situation I don't have a Credit Card and I asked my dad can I use it & he agrees, but after payment was made by his credit card can I change the information on my iTunes account to none again? Because I registered with a none credit card account. The reason I would like to change it to "NONE" is because privacy. Is it possible?

I haven't bought the Application yet but just need a clarification.

PS : Is the payment procedure & piracy is secure? [Nobody can steal the information of the credit card right?]

my this problem still cannot solve yet...i dun think is my connection problem lor... itunes already send email state that i download those software....but what happen in my iphone is the software still under "loading" , it wont start download de.... any1 know y?

open ur itunes, sign out ur account first (in order to register a new account)
click the free apps... then just fill the form... and the second page on the payment u'll see the none.. but make sure u log out 1st then click the free apps...

i just did it last week and it worked...

everything works great! downloading tons of free games to test it out first hehe

I created an US account a year ago by giving US address. Since my credit card's address is not matching, I won't be able to purchase app, song etc.

change ur itunes store to United State 1st (at the bottom of itune store) before u use those tricks~ US store has a lot of things that cannot be found in other store.

as far as i know there's no way u can link malaysian CC with US iTunes account.
the thing is, iTunes US account is intended to be used by US user only (legal issues, etc etc). but yes, of course there is another way which is by using iTunes Gift Card.
and it's better to get iTunes Gift Card as u can find it at discount price. i mean it's really cheap.

i havent checked through all the catalogue, but as far as i know the prices are roughly the same. and the price also stated in USD in both Malaysia and US AppStore.
but some noticed that there are apps that available in US AppStore but still havent appeared in Malaysia AppStore.
as for me, better get iTunes Gift Card.

go for us itunes and then buy itunes gift cards. lots of forumers selling at garage sale for a very worthy price.
