ive watched DOTM. Story wise, 3/5 stars, a bit boring and slow compared to previous two movies. M. Bay failed to develop better story. Human characters also lack of harmony/chemistry. Its just a robot-hit-robot-and-damage-buildings film

CGI effect and action is tiptop! Battle of Chicago pretty impressive

If ever Transformers 4 will be filmed, Bay should pass this job to J. Cameron heheh

Should I watch in 3D or normal ? Some say 3D sucks...is that true ?

the main decepticons in this movie sux, megatron and starscream.except shockwave

haha~ maybe Soundwave looks normal just like the other decepticon without any special color or appearance~ 
i also saw rocks and paper flying out from the screen lol~ 

Hope to watch it end of this week but oh boy... not looking good. Read Metacritic, RT and Roger Ebert reviews and seems to be quite disappointing on all cylinders. Apparently the problem is the plot and (now) acting too. The 2 hour 30 min time is also too long and stretches the movie thin. If you liked the previous two, you will somewhat hate this because of "what they have done/concluded on certain characters". "You better see a ear doctor as the final last hour is an epic loud battle for the fate of the universe that takes place in... the corner of Michigan street."   

My last fleeting hope for a worthy made-for-3D movie is gone. <-- From reviews! The 3D it seems is "barely there" and it still dims the movie. Bad camera angles, too many close-ups and cropping issues (?).

Surprisingly, I am surprised it has turned out this way after a rather underwhelming ROTF. Oh well, I'll be watching this as it places No.2 on my 2011 Must Watch list.

...I'm just hoping I don't rage review. And even if I do it is not to anyone in particular.

Saw it yesterday in MBO, and had watched Transformer 1 & 2.

Terribly dissappointed. only the CGIs of robots fighting are ok. The rest, I mean the rest, are poorly done; either illogical or inconsistent.

yes...the story is not really good....but i ain't going to care much abt the story as this is not an oscar nominated movie...it's just a fun to watch entertainment movie
action - plenty of great action, i can see alot of quiet dangerous stunt and explosion...lots of slow-mo scene as well which enables us to see how specific/ fine the CGI is
the fly guy part....it somehow looks very fake...look like created by computers but it's real
3D - i understand many parts of the movie ...if for those that doesn't know 3D very well...they will thought it's only 2D
those kind of ppl define 3D as things popping out of the screen..so can't blame them
but i can actually see the whole movie is filmed in 3D
some part that looks 2D is actually 3D....just look when the camera is moving and thing appearing from the side or the corner...u'll know it's filmed in 3D entirely

for me..i rate it 7/10...didn't regret going for 3D...not bad...story have alot of room to improve
i think he dumped too much money on the action/CGI part..no more money to go for better story
