I read bout the amplifier for acoustic guitar is different from electric guitar which is using 'lo-fi' amplifier. can anyone tell how to differentiate between the amplifier used by acoustic guitar and electrical guitar? and what is the cheapest quality/price ratio amp i can get from the shop? or anyone thinking to let go theirs?

acoustic amps accentuate the higher frequency (presence) and they sound different.

but if you're looking in terms of value for money, I'd suggest you to get a modeling electric amp just in case you want to play electric too.

but if you're really an acoustic hardcore, then get an acoustic amp.

if you mike it can u just plug in to the PA system?

but laney has a wide range of amp, and i dont know which one is suitable for acoustic amp will probably play acoustic only
