Referring to your specs. Its better to upgrade to 2GB of RAM (RM50 per stick of 1GB). However, Vista Home Basic doesn't require so much of RAM as there isn't Aero interface or Windows DreamScene (which I think is useless) but more RAM ain't gonna hurt you (maybe your wallet). I wouldn't recommend XP as it's quite an old OS already, besides your PC can run Vista Home Basic without a hitch.

wow .. certainly hit the spot ! xD

Vista Home Basic only if you are really sick of Windows XP or your computer can handle the load. ^^
Vista is quite nice and much more fun to use if it were to compare with the simple Windows XP.

My oppinion though ~

It is dependent on the feel of yourself. If you were to use vista, your computer has to have at least 2gb Memory(ram).

Xp has been tested and proven for a long history. It is far more reliable than vista when it comes to software installation and settings.

After all , it is up to you to decide.

Agree with you. Btw, even though I'm running 4GB. It's in quad-channel as in 4X 1GB. blush.gif
