Getting Started

Hi all, sorry to bother you guys and I do know that this question has been repeated thousands of times already but i just need confirmation. I am leaving for Sgpore this Saturday and will most likely get the Tonelab LE. However if my Gas really goes out of control I might consider bringing an amp back. So the question is, will I get taxed at the customs upon finding my newly purchased amplifier? Thanks.

You probably will. But double check the prices here and see if it's cheaper or roughly the same price. The Vox series here is pretty much cheaper or the same as it is in Singapore.
The only thing that Singapore has gotten going for them, is variety.

^Sick flamer is sick flamer.
I'm very sure amps will be taxed. You could try to put the amp in your trunk and say it's your sound system.

bring your guitar with you .. and then come back with the guitar+amp and use the same excuse as above .... you brought this from m'sia to singapore for gig ... of cuz u must hide, destroy the box .... anything that can indicate it's new ... gd luck .. onemore thing , if u put in the trunk , which they usually check .....they might question you about it .. it's also a good idea to put in the backseat.. but of cuz without the box ... and maybe just try to hide from the outside view .. with a pillow, bag etc ... lastly ... u might get lucky and there is no immigration officer on watch ... or they are just sitting down ..
